Leading a team of approximately 10 developers to learn and develop some amazing code that helps our customers find their dream gear. Our team is responsible for a portion of the website, as well as part of our email marketing efforts. We use React, Next.js, Go, PHP and other supporting languages to build a super performant experience for our customers. We utilize a Kanban process, with hints of Agile sprinkled in to get prioritized work delivered quickly.I also lead the efforts for compliance and accessibility for the website. Which has included keeping the site WCAG level AA compliant, as well helping implement a new cookie compliance solution.

Sites & Scenes is a portrait photography and website design business that I started to help local businesses create an online presence. I also take Family, Child, and Senior portraits. I have expanded the offerings into aerial video and photography.

As a Team Lead with Aptera, I was able to lead a larger team of developers that were spread across multiple projects, providing them career, technology, and personal guidance. As a management role, I was tasked with providing feedback weekly, and during annual reviews. This role also allowed me to continue to architect solutions for individual projects as time allowed. After the merger with Core BTS I moved into a Principle Consultant role, where I focused more on architecting and POC-ing new contracts. This role allowed me to be part of the initial sales conversations where requirements, estimates, and SLAs were being developed.

Since starting with Do it Best Corp., I have been involved in rebuilding both the front end and back end of our consumer shopping website. This included moving to another developer, installing Endeca search, and creating a new look for the consumer site.
