Co-OwnerAfter seeing the success a business mentor of mine was having with a highly sought after supply of vintage European clothing in many provinces across the country, I identified a large opportunity to expand further. We partnered and developed a wholesale and retail business, which serviced more of the South African market screaming out for this product. We ended up developing 4 retail locations and 150 wholesale accounts, which experienced 30% year-on-year growth even during the GFC. Once I felt I had taken it as far as I could, I sold my equity back to my business partner, who continues to run it successfully to this day, in order to explore international opportunities.
