Served as lead process engineer for the design and construction of a 200 MMSCFD cryogenic gas plant, and a major expansion to company's NGL export terminal (ethylene, ethane, propane chilling trains, refrigerated storage and ship loading).▫ Provide engineering leadership for HAZOPs and resulting action items, model reviews, MOCs, scope changes, tie-in planning, etc. Review and issue approvals for PFDs & HMBs, equipment and piping specifications, I&E documentation, etc. Build and maintain updated process simulations to verify EPC's data and specifications output.▫ Lead commissioning efforts on site, develop startup schedule and coordinate PSSRs, system purges/inventorying, and third-party support. Assist operations in bringing the facility online.

Provided operations support and project management for South Texas PSM and pipeline facilities, primarily a 650 MMSCFD refrigerated lean oil absorption plant with 40k BPD fractionation train.▫ Collaborate with operations to troubleshoot poor equipment performance, excessive consumables usage, and unusual operating conditions▫ Prepare data-driven reports identifying potential areas for optimization of NGL recoveries and reduction of plant overhead costs▫ Develop creative on-line solutions for maintenance and repair projects that would otherwise require a facility or unit shutdown▫ Serve as Project Manager and Project Engineer for small- and mid-cap projects

▫ Extensive use of HYSYS in modeling an array of syngas-based processes, including gas-, biomass-, and coal-to-liquids.▫ Collaborated with lab personnel to derive reaction kinetics and selectivities from lab-scale Fischer-Tropsch and hydroprocessing data for incorporation into HYSYS models. ▫ Worked with clients to develop realistic material and energy balances, utility consumption, and emissions estimates for their use in evaluating the economics of speculative projects.
