I am responsible for all sales, marketing and distribution efforts related to the LVEM5 and LVEM25 electron microscopes.I built a quoting system from the ground up, regularly updating all our costings from our suppliers as well as adjustments for foreign exchange. I developed partnerships with 3rd party suppliers to broaden our portfolio.After implementing a CRM (Salesforce.com), we grew a database of thousands of prospective LVEM users internationally. I maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective deals, critically ranked for likelihood to close, enabling quarterly sales forecasts. I submit international tenders for equipment, warranties and service plans.I have setup and managed a wide-reaching international distribution network. I conference with our international partners to help maximize their efforts, keeping detailed records of their activities.I’m responsible for creating and executing a yearly marketing plan. I perform a critical evaluation of potential opportunities in print & digital media, and participation in conferences and shows. I Implement and oversee advertising with Google and Linkedin. I prepare a yearly marketing budget and corelated the past years expenses. I’ve been responsible for multiple generational changes to our marketing materials with new websites, marketing literature and product videos.I’ve been responsible for the marketing launch of a new instrument into a market that was never addressed by our portfolio. I personally developed new expertise with new users with different applications and expectations.I’ve trained and managed a direct report with sales and marketing responsibilities. The direct report helped me to maximize the overall sales and marketing efforts and global projects.I attend trade-shows, scientific meetings, and demos to help prospective customers understand that the LVEM microscopes are suitable to meet their research goals. I occasionally go on site to perform installations and trainings for users.

I developed new application areas where the LVEM5 benchtop electron microscope would be a beneficial asset for our prospective customers. I regularly attended trade-shows, scientific meetings, informal and on-site demos to help prospective customers understand how the LVEM5 microscope is suitable to meet their research goals. I occasionally went on-site to perform installations and trainings for new users.Together, our aim is to increase the adoption of this unique and groundbreaking technology, making election microscopy more readily available to researchers and students worldwide in varying fields from nanotechnology to pathology.
