U.S. Army Technical Control Facility Liaison/Operator March 2006 – February 2007● Supervise 8-10 member team to manage and maintain secure and non-secure communication systems to include tier 0, 1, 2 Networks throughout SW Asia, supporting 100,000+ users dispersed across 80+VLANs. ● Provided comprehensive services, including: voice, data, LAN, WAN, VLAN configuration and video-teleconferencing utilizing satellite, fiber optic and hardwire transmissions. ● Recognized for being Liaison between civilian contractors and military personnel which included generating comprehensive network status, utilization, and future network requirement reports.● Administered and maintained Promina 800, Redcom IGX, and Cisco Call Manager Switches as well as data, security, and SIP servers.U.S. Army Battalion Command Center Network Controller 02 September 2002 – March 2006● Supervise between 5 and 30 Backbone Switches throughout SW Asia supporting analog voice, NIPR, SIPR, VoIP, VoSIP, Radio over IP Routing (RIPR), and VTC services supporting over 100,000 Soldiers and civilians enabling the military to successfully conduct missions throughout Iraq.● Assist in design and restructure of network migration from tactical to commercial equipment to include Fiber Optic backbone, Commercial Line of Sight (LOS), Microwave Transmitters, satellite links, and a full assortment of Cisco equipment to include routers, switches, fiber switches, hubs, and bridges.● Provide specialized services, including: installation, engineering, and troubleshooting of NATO and foreign national communications equipment.● Established training programs, Best Practices and Standard Operating Procedure Documentation.
