Generated a MATLAB tool in support of the EW lab to define each radar pulse and programmatically control the EW lab equipment. The MATLAB tool is designed to model and account for complex and dynamic mission scenarios to include multiple rotating radars and aircraft moving via a collection of waypoints. The tool accounted for Doppler frequency offset, free space path loss, attenuation and location relative to the curvature of Earth. Implemented a Python algorithm to dynamically calculate release points based on airspeed, heading, wind, and air density for an unmanned aerial system (UAS) to deliver a payload and accurately impacting a target. In field testing the algorithm was accurate to within a square foot.
