Manage field technicians and a CAD department with respect to site development projects. Sites are typically solid waste facilities. Complete site designs, construction plans, and record drawings. Familiar with engineering design and operations plans and stormwater management plans. Produce closure/post-closure and construction quality assurance reports. I am the office’s radiation safety officer with respect to operating and maintaining nuclear density gauges. Perform site survey and responsible for operating and maintain survey equipment. I have worked in the field as a construction quality assurance technician for landfill expansions.

Operate, maintain, and modify bench and pilot plant scale reactors. Review construction drawings and P&IDs. Work with nuetralization tanks, pressurized reactors, fermentors, distillation columns, scrubbers, pumps, motors, control systems, batch reactors, and chemical feed systems. Participated in the lab, running HPLC.

Investigating the reuse of mine waste for the purpose of a construction material. Wrote a Master’s thesis. Collaborated with researchers and regulators at the USEPA. Planned a site layout for a drinking water treatment plant for Highlands Ranch, CO using both surface and groundwater sources. Performed engineering calculations and wrote design reports. Working knowledge of water quality goals, sedimentation, plant layout, mass balances, intake, hydraulic profiles, filtration, disinfection, coagulation, flocculation, clarification, air stripping, and surface and groundwater modeling.

Analyzed and interpreted data for a solar start-up company. Measured the quantum efficiency of solar cells. Collected data and prepared presentations for board meetings and engineering meetings.

Worked with industrial hygienists as a consultant where I performed sampling plans and wrote reports. Interacted with general contractors about safety in and around construction sites.
