My role involves testing each instrument before it ships to clients, as well as conducting sample analyses to demonstrate the kind of data our instruments will provide.I’ve had the privilege of working on a new data processing method for our Circularly Polarized Luminescence (CPL) instruments, currently in its final stages of development. My work includes optimizing instruments for leading institutions such as the Max Planck Institute and customizing spectrophotometers to meet the unique needs of each research project.With an undergraduate degree from Berry College, a master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and PhD work at the University of Georgia, I am a trained chemist and am developing my engineering skills while contributing to the next generation of research tools.
