This dual role included responsibilities for managing both strategic agent bank/co-brand relationships and direct marketing initiatives. As a relationship manager for as many as 47 partners, I facilitated contract renewal and amendment negotiations, developed and executed growth and marketing strategies, reported on account performance metrics, presented at customer/prospective customer events (trade shows, user conferences, etc), directed client communications, conducted product training for partner and internal representatives, resolved escalated program/customer issues, and ensured the overall health of each unique customer relationship. Additional marketing duties included direct mail campaigns, telesales design, application development, in-branch promotions, routine customer messaging, program/product roll-outs (white papers, etc), newsletters, trade shows and conference planning.
