We began a side business renovating and selling houses in the Denver area. I took some time off after Envysion to pursue our initial project, as well as to enjoy some adventure in the mountains and travel. As department manager, I led a group of ten fantastic individuals comprised of Project Managers, POS Specialists, a Product Engineer, and an Analytics Specialist. Together, we were able to meet and exceed customer expectations and internal milestones despite what often seemed like insurmountable requirements. In 2015 we had one of the most active 4th quarters in company history with the Operations Department playing a critical role in rocketing past our company goal that year and helping to secure bonuses for all employees.

Envysion enables organizations to leverage remote video and provides operators insight to improve performance in every location, every day.As a team lead, my primary responsibilities included the organization and mobilization of subcontractors for multi-site installations all over North America. In addition, I was regularly tasked with fostering customer relations, system design, project assessment/reporting, pre-sale coordination efforts, remote system support, and the training of new team members. The experience garnered while working at Envysion further developed my management proficiencies in handling large scale customer rollouts where detail, organization, and creativity are key.

It was an incredible opportunity to take my security system design and consulting skills to another level at Technology Plus. It was a humbling but gratifying experience to work on large-scale projects nationwide such as detention centers, school systems, hospitals, municipalities, high-end resorts, crime labs, and government facilities. My work involved the design of network based and integrated security systems, including the creation of detailed blueprints, narratives, specifications, RFPs, and site walks. The design/development method mirrored the construction process through its various phases.

As a security system technician, my tasks involved system design, installations, and service. I was also integral to the sales process on days when I was not in the field, personally closing several large accounts during my time with Echelon. Due to my technical and client relationship experience, there was an opportunity to move into the role of Sales Engineer. My duties included the design of CCTV, intrusion alarm, and access control systems. The position also required me to manage subcontractors on many occasions and handle any necessary technical support for our clients. Echelon provided the means to absorb an abundance of knowledge pertaining to the security integration industry.
