Current researcher with a great interest in the strategies various cancers have evolved to evade the immune system and how to combat them.Skills:-Cell Culture: Culturing of human primary cells (macrophages, NK cells, T cells) and a variety of continuous cell lines; cell thawing and cryopreservation-Viral vector production: Plasmid design; production of lentiviral vectors; determination of physical and functional titer; assessing transduction and integration efficiency in primary cells and continuous cell lines; experience with both lentiviruses and adenoviruses-Immunological techniques: Flow panel design; multi-color flow cytometry; ELISA, AlphaLISA, and Meso Scale Discovery assays; T-cell–macrophage co-culture; isolation of immune cells from whole blood and PBMCs-Molecular biological techniques: CRISPR-Cas; PCR and RT-PCR; mutagenesis; restriction digestion; ligation using Gibson assembly, ligases, and OE-PCR; bacterial transformation and culturing; nucleic acid isolation and purification from bacteria, PCR products, and agarose gels; SDS-PAGE and Western blotting-Record keeping and data analysis: Proficient in FlowJo, GraphPad Prism, ImageJ/Fiji, CLC Main Workbench, Microsoft applications, and Benchling electronic lab notebooks
