I am currently working as a distinguished engineer on AI systems at NVIDIA. I am part of the compiler group and am currently focused on the programming model and tool chains for GPU software. I was co-founder of OctoAI (previously OctoML) which built services and tools for deep learning & AI.I served as CTO until we joined NVIDIA, and had prior served as interim-Chief Product Officer, Chief Architect, and in the early days head of engineering.Prior to OctoAI I had helped incubate and graduate TVM into a top-level Apache project, and for many years was the #2 contributor to the project and PMC member. Prior to TVM I was an early contributor to the Lean language and helped push it towards being a general purpose programming environment, and design its meta-programming capabilities. Lean is now used by human and AI to do formal mathematics, as well as verification, and PL theory research. I completed my PhD at the University of Washington as part of the PLSE and SAMPL groups. I'm a computer scientist at heart. I love taking insights from the research community and applying them to build intelligent, performant, and powerful systems. I have been fortunate to have m experience across many diverse areas including web development, JIT compilers, software engineering, computer architecture, functional programming, compilers, verification, databases, systems, and machine learning.
Listed skills include Python, C++, Ruby On Rails, Ruby, and 40 others.

Co-founded OctoML: a company focused on accelerating AI teams through automation. We are building core technology, tools and products for ML systems and deployment.
Redmond, Washington, Us
I worked as part of the Project Everest team building tools for developing a formally verified end-to-end TLS 1.3 stack. My work mostly focused on improving verification performance, and developing Kremlin and optimizing compiler from F* to C.

I served as the teaching assistant for undergraduate operating systems (CSE 451). We used jos a teaching operating system designed at MIT.
San Francisco, Ca, Us
Working on the Rust programming language and compiler.
Santa Barbara, Ca, Us
I also have recently become a member of UCSB's ArchLab and I am spending the majority of my research time on projects that fuse ideas in theorem proving, type theory, HDLs, security, and computer architecture in novel ways.
Santa Barbara, Ca, Us
I am a member of Programming Languages(PL) Lab at UCSB doing research under professor Ben Hardekopf. My focuses are in the areas of program analysis, interpreters, compilers and type theory. My recent work has been centered around collaborative work on program generation, and its application to language implementation fuzzing.

I have worked at Invoca for two summers and throughout the academic year on small projects. One project was experiments around optimizing the warehousing layer in order to improve its performance. As well as helping to drive the company's business intelligence efforts. A high performance API server that provided a minimum 40x performance increase for clients over the existing API, as well as setting design precedence for future services. I have also worked on smaller projects such as experimental patches to the Ruby interpreter, debugging and concurrency tools. During my second summer I helped lead the port of the entire code base to Ruby 2.0 as well as performing many refactors everywhere from the view to telephony layer. I also co-lead the effort to completely redesign our API documentation and worked on every level from doc extraction to presentation.
I have worked here both part-time during the year and full-time during two summers, doing a wide variety of things. I designed and implemented both the first and second iterations of the internal backend API, that provided authentication, access, sharing, and consistency for a user's file system. I also worked on the design and implementation of the web services which were improved in multiple iterations. I also helped write C++ for the Mac version of the client application.
