I am the President and CEO of Student Veterans of America, where my goal is to inspire tomorrow’s leaders.I have overseen SVA’s growth to a network of more than 1,500 chapters on campuses in all 50 states and three countries abroad representing more than 750,000 student veterans annually.Our mission is to act as a catalyst for student veteran success by providing resources, network support and advocacy to, through, and beyond higher education.Prior to joining SVA, my career included work as:National Program Manager for Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans (EBV) at the Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF)Manager of Florida Operations for the Washington Nationals Major League Baseball team A member of the United States Navy nuclear submarine forceIn addition to my work at SVA, I also am:A member of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Veteran’s Advisory Committee on EducationAn advisory board member for the Global War on Terrorism Memorial Foundation and the Florida State University Veteran Advisory BoardI hold an Associate of Arts from Eastern Florida State College, a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University, and a Master of Public Administration from Syracuse University.I am currently pursuing my PhD in Social Science from Syracuse University.
