I worked in the banquet kitchen in the Radisson Hotel as an assistant kitchen manager and chef's assistant. My Hometown was a club I helped create in my high school area that focused on raising funds for the homeless community in my area. We met biweekly in school and planned events to make sure we collected as much as we could. -Advertised the club around school, talking to peers and students in order to earn the interest of others, resulting in a club consisting of over 40 members.-Organized a fundraiser at a bowling alley, including coordinating the times for the more than 30 teams playing on 24 lanes over a 3 hour time period and contacting the bowling alley to work out a deal to host the event at a low cost, resulting in raising over $2,000 in one night. -Established relationships with over 20 different homeless men, being as outgoing and approachable as possible.-Managed weekly meetings for the club, making sure that all 40 members knew what was happening and that all necessary topics were discussed in the 30 minute meetings.
