The Business Analyst’s role is to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business unit requests for application development projects. This includes interviewing stakeholders/business owners and gathering and compiling user requirements to convey to development teams throughout the software life-cycle. The Business Analyst will also apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help support the development process, and to ensure that project deliverables are met according to specifications. The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring IT understanding of business requirements to make the development process successful.

The Product Specialist interacts with business units, business analysts and developers to improve and enhance the quality and relevance of application software developed internally. This position acts as a liaison between the business unit and the IT Development area for the purposes of improving the user experience and usability regarding software developed in-house that serves the customer and customer services. Intermediate technical skills regarding software development and testing are required in this position. The Product Specialist also assists in training business units on newly developed applications used internally and externally.

Execute standard procedures and test plans to test new system software and existing software changes to ensure software has been developed based on business requirements and technical specifications provided by business and system analysts. Assist in developing test plans and evaluating software testing and documentation tools.
