Video is a powerful, evocative medium. As a young child my affinity for stories and motion media led to the creation of movies with a family VHS camcorder. By the 6th grade I started editing on my own with the family computer’s built-in software and have been doing so ever since (albeit with more advanced systems and workflows).As an editor, I utilize a combination of artistic intuition, technical knowledge and years of industry experience to craft compelling stories that elicit a variety of responses. From worldwide commercials and local spots to documentary projects and corporate internal messaging, I assemble high quality videos that engage and inspire while effectively delivering target messages.My background in video production, art/graphic design, and music has instilled in me a creative drive to produce polished content with strong attention to detail across the audio/visual spectrum. Whether it's highlight reels, promotional pieces, short form documentaries, television programming, or something more abstract — I bring a passion for storytelling through editing. Throughout my career I've had the opportunity to work with incredible teams, collaborators, and clients ranging from small town startups to Fortune Top 10 companies on content with a broadcast reach spanning from local markets to international platforms such as Crackle and Amazon Prime, and I've edited TV shows with multiple Regional Emmy wins and one Daytime Emmy nomination, with 93 episodes completed for broadcast in the United States as well as countries like the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia. To date, I've received two Regional Emmy nominations for editing. But I haven’t forgotten how it all began: watching, listening, learning and creating with consumer gear, my friends and family, and a desire to tell stories through the evocative power of light and sound.
