The evolution of SYNDUIT defines the entrepreneur’s journey. Our Founder, Jared Yellin, started the company in his small two-bedroom apartment in Fort Lee, NJ with no money, no team, but a TON of vision in July of 2011. Silver Financial is a startup Reverse Mortgage Company started with a fellow Kelley School of Business graduate. We were provided with a seed investment from a group of angel investors in order to open our doors. The goal of Silver Financial was to see if we had the ability to generate a revenue stream which would enable us to survive until we were a Reverse Mortgage underwriter, which would then be the time that we received a second round of funding. We formed an alliance with Financial Freedom, the number one Reverse Mortgage provider, who we would contract with our company on reverse mortgage deals that we generated. This became a successful venture and enabled the company to receive a second round of funding as a reverse mortgage underwriter.
