I make people happier.I’m a Design Lead at Diff and an educator teaching various design courses at George Brown College in Toronto. I have an imperative to create at all times. You can find me playing piano or singing with a metal band, painting nostalgic oil on canvas and coding complex interactive installations. I often get involved in endeavours related to various fields like music, photography, film, visual arts and entrepreneurship. I make businesses bloom. As a Design Lead and Educator, I bring more than 5 years of experience working with Shopify brands to the table. With a track record of over 15 years in leading and managing teams of designers, I am a strong advocate of delivering high-quality design work that drives results for clients. With a background in art and creative direction, I excel in translating business and technical requirements into visually compelling language that is universally accessible. My expertise in user-centred design principles allows me to create design strategies that align with business goals. I also possess skills in conducting user research, working with Object Oriented UX methodology, User Journey Mapping exercises and Atomic Design, which further adds value to my role as a Design Lead in ecommerce. I am passionate about educating not only my students but also my team, fostering excellence and constant development within my collaborative team.I always look to innovate.I believe that art and design are the critical factors inspiring the progress of our society.
