Working within an embedded marketing team and with external vendors, my role is to help grow the visual brand presence and maintain a consistent visual voice across multiple channels for an automotive group spanning 50+ locations across western and central New York.

I'm a visual strategist, experience designer, and motion engineer. I'd refer to myself as a design generalist with over 15+ years of experience but I rarely refer to myself. Having been involved in teams that have worked on enterprise global benefits products, visual identity systems, and broadcast commercial animations, I’ve consistently made an effort to be a varied contributor and design leader to help drive brand awareness and provide product value. I make an effort to focus on narratives, stories that help connect experiences among people with compelling and emotional content that resonate with viewers.

As a Senior Designer I was an integral part of a team that focused on developing compelling, memorable, and relevant experiences that drove brand awareness for clients. From a visual identity that helped support a vision to bring a community together for a park revamp to a website redesign that helped realign it’s mission of mental health services, our aim was to bring value through our services.I also contributed at the operations level, collaborating on refining the web development process from discovery through launch to streamline communications and accountability.We won a Gold Addy award for animation segments that I designed and animated as part of a documentary for a local Co-op.

Utilizing design process and agile methodology, our core UX team worked closely with product stakeholders, project managers, developers and leads to fully realize the private benefits exchange solution user experience potential through researched, iterative and informed wireframing, prototyping and UI design. My role on the team focused on UX/UI design and agile HTML prototype development for initial sales efforts. The prototypes were then referenced for the actual product development. The end to end global private benefits solution was launched across 5 countries.

As part of a web application design team, my responsibilities began at the product concept level providing guidance on interaction and design decisions through wireframes and prototypes to visual designs and finally full front-end framework implementation on the final LMS product. I worked closely with product stakeholders, developers and educators to fully realize our products potential while keeping the experience of the end user in mind.Our Learning Management Systems combined several resources for K-12 educators including assessment builders, a standards aligned system and a curriculum framework that was used in several US Districts and an International Baccalaureate program.

Working with the Creative Director, I helped to provide guidance and direction to the creative department (13 people) and act as intermediary to the development team on all projects for the Fisher-Price account. My involvement in each project included: art direction, design conceptualization, team brainstorming, execution of visual designs including Flash design/animation/development, bridge from creative to coding, concept salesman to clients, client liaison, efficient budget & time manager and project coordination.
