The goal was to streamline the service development process and communication by bringing together customers, technology vendors and our organization.We managed to unify our service portfolio while rewriting all of our service descriptions. Focusing our new service development around hybrid cloud, we selected a new monitoring platform based on technology designed to support hybrid cloud.One of our major successes was the closing of our first major cloud operator account.The focus of 2017 was to build managed devops services on top of public cloud, especially to support application development and delivery.In January of 2018, Vincit's ICT services business was purchased by DataCenter Finland Oy. -

My role changed to the technology director of networking services, focusing more on the strategic rather than the operational level.Between 2010 and 2014 I put a lot of effort in productization and pre-sales, to help our sales team score more wins in outsourcing contracts and to improve contract value. We had an increasing need for pre-sales support, and it was an opportunity for professional growth for myself.In 2014, I launched an effort to design a next generation core network, with capability for full end-to-end automation with maximum operational scalability in mind for producing LAN, WAN and datacenter connectivity as a service. With workloads rapidly shifting into public, private and hybrid cloud and network borders becoming increasingly meaningless, network would be the key enabler of the transformation. With Cisco's ASR technology and MPLS as a foundation, we achieved a design that allowed for next generation data center interconnect, end-to-end application based visibility and control and built-in security.

I also became a partner with the company.We recognized networks as a strategic enabler of our outsourcing business. While rolling out our secondary DC, we invested in network infrastructure and expertise in order to achieve ISP independence. I started a services operator business combining access services with our managed Cisco LAN & WAN network services, which was an innovative business model in the local market at the time.

Network ArchitectJaverdel Oy Jan 2006 - May 2009In 2006 my position changed to a network architect. I was involved in data center LAN and WAN designs with numerous customer projects. I developed an enthusiasm in creating new managed service products on top of Cisco network technologies, for example experimenting in early SD-WAN technologies. The new purchasing models proved a success in a market dominated by hardware, software and consulting sales, and it improved our sales process greatly.In 2008 we started investing in virtualization, moving the goal of network architecture design towards improved utilization and reduced capex through network function virtualization.
