Before my graduation I started my career in media research for a brief spell, before moving into sales and the stainless steel business. As Sales Manager my task was to expand the customer base and increase sales. Additionally to get acquainted with the global steel market in order to manage sourcing was part of my job description.In 2010 as part of a merger I was promoted to Branch Manager. The promotion added responsibility for the Nordic business operation to my tasks. Since then strategic sourcing and business development have been an integral part of my daily work.Since assuming responsibility sales volume and turnover have more than doubled bringing the Branch office to a new level operationally. The process has involved diverse challenges from sales efforts to investment planning as well as cash flow management. Working as part of a global group has set very high standards for any operations and therefore has provided valuable and versatile experience as a business professional.Year 2014 meant stepping out of steel business and becoming a business owner. Completing a business deal for a company importing and trading in pet supplies will provide an interesting challenge and a new step on my career.After 8 years of entrepreneurship I returned to working in the steel business at Harald Pihl AB.
