My leadership style is quiet but effective. I'm not the person who steps into the spotlight and takes command in the first few moments of a project, but over time, after I get a sense of team members, after I've listened intently, and after I've had a chance to plot my strategy, that's where I shine. In almost every group project that I've collaborated on, team members tell me, "You were the true leader of our group." When we reflect back on our progress, it's clear that I was the person at the helm, whether I had a specific title or endorsement or not, I kept us on track. I had a sense of when our morale or productivity were low, and I redirected us.As I move towards growing and establishing my career, my areas of expertise are sharp, particularly:- Adaptability- Detail orientation- Patience- Organization- Interpersonal skills- Multi-taskingI liken myself to an empty cup. I learn readily and I adapt to the structure and the tone of the project or team where I'm placed. One of my distinctive qualities is my trilingual ability - I am fluent in English, Thai, and Laotian. It's easy to reach me here on LinkedIn, or you can email me at jarleeya@gmail.com.
