Senior Loss Prevention Executive
CurrentMy main responsibilities in the Customer Service and Loss Prevention team in Gard is to provide service and support to Gard's clients and members, and to learn from casualties and losses and prevent them from happening again in the future. This includes crisis management training, analysing claims statistics, and developing and sharing loss prevention material; Such as creating and publishing loss prevention alerts, articles, awareness videos, podcasts and holding presentations in webinars, seminars or workshops. My work also include risk advice, trend analysis and technical advisory for our underwriters and claims staff. Particular in new risk areas, such as offshore wind, digitalisation, autonomous ships, cyber risks and new energy sources introduced to the maritime sector. The work includes contributing and participating in various national and intonational industry forums in order to follow developments that might affect insurance risks for Gard.My core strength is working with people and focusing on human factors; interacting with customers, seafarers, partners, academia and other stakeholders. I have a deep interest in how technology can be used to safeguard life, property and the environment.
