Providing strategic advice on issues of sustainable development and fundraising to the governing board of the prestigious non-profit, Prakratik Society working on the periphery of Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve. Prakratik works on the issues of sustainable development (education, health, clean energy and livelihoods) within a fragile ecosystem. The love for the cause drove me to get back and I feel extremely passionate and excited to have accepted this role in a voluntary capacity.

Co-managed the clean energy partnership between Department for International Development, Government of UK and TERI under the UK- India Partnership framework. This was a multi-million pounds program aimed at building rural markets for clean lighting and cooking across India over a period of 5 years.

Managed programs under Lighting a Billion Lives program of TERI. Lead partnership development at the state level with government institutions, NGOs, technology developers and other stakeholders across the clean energy value chain. Worked with over 60 partners across 24 states of the country with extensive experience in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar and North-East India.

I worked for developing sustainable harvesting limits for medicinal plants certification under the sustainable development paradigm. The project area was in higher altitude regions of Uttarakhand, specifically dealing with medicinal plants harvesters in a particular watershed (Pinder watershed region).
