Developing a marketing strategy driving post-COVID recovery in Saba's tourism sector through data-driven insights and qualitative interviews. Crafting comprehensive plans to boost visitor engagement, promote sustainable growth, and maximize economic impact.

Due to marketing automation, time became available for a wider set of responsibilities. I worked on projects for member marketing, destination marketing, data development, sustainability, crime and interests groups.

In this position, I performed a critical analysis of the current marketing performance which led to an immediate shift in direction of resources and marketing planning.We automated the content process and optimised performance based on new analytical insights. Within half a year our Social Media channels organic reach and engagements levels tripled and doubled. This steady growth continued during my time at BONHATA. I wrote, edited, and published content on all company brand's social media profiles and partner channels.After redesigning our newsletter template and administration our opening rate grew by a third.

I was hired to reduce the pressure at the support department at Pro4all. I did so by creating a knowledge base with effective support content. At first, I updated all the outdated content. While doing so we created a uniform graphic and writing style that was later adopted by all online and offline product support content.Using our products intensively, I noticed certain UX and product opportunities which lead to close collaboration with the UX lead and product teams. By improving our overall UX, we could significantly decreased support issues and improved customer satisfaction. As a leader of the project, we created a style guide for our content and software products. My favorite challenge was creating software with a smooth UX, supported by content on how to use our products in clear, easy to understand language. And to make sure we use this consistently for all our products wherever we use words.

One of my main goals during my world travel was to become a diver. After my 3rd certification on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, I was hooked and knew I wanted to pursue this career and see more of the world.During the first year of my career, I picked two large and well-known dive centres in Borneo and Vietnam to do my training. In this way, I gained a lot of experience from a wide variety of dive professionals. During my time Borneo is managed a small dive shop and in Vietnam, I managed the marketing of a seasonal dive-shop.I then moved to the Caribbean for adventure, where I ended up free-lancing in Honduras. Because of limited work, I moved to St. Maarten where we worked in a four-person team, managing all aspects of the dive shop as a team. Here I also started captaining dive-boats and getting in touch with the market of high-end scuba diving.When the opportunity arose to work on Saba, one of the best dive spots in the Caribbean, I could not resist. Here I improved my boat skills as well as my management skills due to the professional and high-end nature of the island's diving. In the last 6 months, I decided to work as a free-lancer to take full advantage of the high-end and live aboard opportunities and to combine research diving with sports diving.
