Participating in a 12 month program through the Self-Employment and Entrepreneurial Development Society that put our company on the fast track to success.Worked for 10 years as a public and private consultant doing database design and programming. Graduated from the Art Institute of Vancouver-Burnaby with a diploma in Video Game Programming. Worked in the student game company, Three Foot Titans creating the humorous stealth game "Sasquatch" as Lead Programmer.Worked for Piranha games on the PSP title, Need for Speed: Undercover as well as Bass Pro Shops: The Strike and Bass Pro Shops: The Hunt for the XBox 360/Wii/PC. I was solely responsible for working on integrating with XBox LIVE on both 360 titles as well as Microsoft certification evaluation. I was involved in many smaller tasks as a generalist programmer as the project continued such as interface programming, gameplay programming, and various optimizing performance issues. I worked both with other programmers, artists and designers as well as on my own.One of the greatest experiences working at Piranha was having my own voice and offering suggestions that might improve the end result. Though not all were implemented, I enjoy having some of them reach the final product. In the future, I am hoping to work more with the Wii and Xbox 360. I would like to also gain experience working on the PlayStation 3. To me, getting the chance to work on a AAA title would be another accomplishment. Working on multiplayer programming (and by extension, game play programming) for the PSP was also both challenging and enjoyable, something I would like to invest more knowledge into in the future.Specialties: Intelligent design, databases, networking, game programming, IT consultation
