Current• Managing the community and economic development undertakings for the city of Latrobe and surrounding areas• Entrusted to build teams between leaders in the public and private sector and responsible for ensuring diverse personalities and leadership styles work together for the same goal • Working with contractors and architectural / design professionals to undertake commercial building and historical building renovations and restorations • Overseeing all aspects of large scale fundraising, grant writing and development, successfully turning around organization into a long term financially sustainable entity• Led organization to Designation, National Accreditation, Non Profit of the Year and 3rd Best Performing Main Street Program in Commonwealth • Founded and managing a Business Incubator - The Center for Entrepreneurship and Job Development• Responsible for launching a wide range of marketing and public relations while working closely with the press and other media outlets• Implementing studies and Master Plans that analyze the community assets and improve the central business district and surrounding residential area • Designing and implementing creative place-making projects and related sustainability based beautification initiatives, Farmers' Market, Vegetable Gardens, and EITC programs.• Maintaining and growing professional relationships with state and political representatives• Assessing economic data to leverage bringing entrepreneurs, jobs and industry to the city• Utilizing servant leadership and supervising any temporary or permanent employees and/or interns, as well as consultants for any revitalization efforts• Managing monthly board/executive board meetings while recruiting new talent to the organization and to service-based outreach• www.latroberevitalization.org
