I love a good challenge! Spending a career in IT will present more challenges than you thought existed. On top of all those challenges, there aren't always predetermined solutions, but you have to find a solution anyway. I've found that finding these solutions is really the gold mine of learning. I love to research, acquire new skills, and then hopefully find a solution to the current challenge I'm working on.Working in IT at Utah State University has been challenging as technology evolves and changes. I have to find ways to evolve and change as well. Working up to my position as a systems administrator has provided many skills and talents as I work to solve every day problems. I've acquired extensive troubleshooting skills and have experience in many different enterprise and educational tools such as Active Directory, Group Policy Management, Windows and macOS deployments, ServiceNow, and large scale projects as well.My primary role is managing our SCCM (MECM) and JAMF Pro environments and there have been challenges that I've overcome as I implement new processes and make sure things are running smoothly. I've found that through solving the many challenges and learning new skills, that I've become a consistent and helpful resource to the University campus that I serve. I work to give others the support they need to solve the problems that they come across.
