Worked with a team to build, maintain, and deploy multiple external facing websites, web services, and windows services utilizing C#, Visual Studio 2015 & 2017, Angular 4.0, PowerShell, and Octopus Deploy.* Spearheaded the migration of current and legacy applications from PowerShell DSC deployment to a versioned Octopus Deploy deployment. Defined a process whereby the life-cycle from local development to prod was streamlined using a combination of configuration transformation and Octopus Deploy variable replacements. Made reusable PowerShell scripts to more easily interact with the Octopus Deploy API.* Worked to migrate all existing application pools and windows services from using service accounts to using gMSA accounts. This was to ensure security and ease of management, because passwords would be unknowable and consistently changing on a predefined schedule, and each app pool and service would have its own dedicated account, ensuring less impact if a single account was compromised.* Utilized a CyberArk strategy to store and retrieve passwords within an application on an allowed server, so that passwords could be removed from config files, making the applications more secure.* Helped build an internal website that utilized Angular 4.0 with a web service API backend.
