As Vice President of Products & Markets, I am responsible for the development and management of the product- and service portfolio, leading an international team of product managers and complementary roles. I oversee product innovation, ensuring that offerings align and evolve with market demands and customer needs. These market verticals include SMB's, large retail, mobility and financials. I collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in the commercial, IT, financial and operational domains to ensure successful product launches and effective market positioning, using data-driven insights for decision-making and prioritization.

As Head of Strategy, I was accountable for researching and designing the overall strategic direction of the product and service portfolio and the markets in which they would be sold. Leading a team of Commercial Product Managers, I monitored industry changes and adjusted product-market strategies as needed, often together with leading customers and partners through the process of co-creation. In this role I was also a member of the management team, representing the product and market domain. During this period we achieved significant growth in the European self-service and large retail industries, by enabling international payment solutions for our key customers and standardizing those solutions to be market standards.

This role involved analyzing markets, competitors, customers, and the (financial) performance of products and services. In addition, the overarching goal of my function was to identify growth opportunities in the European self-service markets and consequently, drive revenue growth. My job profile also required translating strategic plans and the long-term business case into tactical and operational plans, while monitoring progress, and implementing solutions after approval. In terms of business development, the role focused on creating new business propositions that aligned with customer needs. This was done through systematic analyses and ongoing synchronization with customers and partners.

As Junior Market Analist, I was responsible for conducting market research, analyzing data trends, and preparing reports to support strategic business decisions. My tasks included gathering industry data, monitoring competitor activities, and identifying market opportunities such as new business propositions. Moreover, the responsibilities included forecasting market trends and closely collaborating with other departments to align the insights with business goals to help drive growth and innovation of the product- and service portfolio. In the role, I co-created the analysis and business case which lead to the creation of an internal startup within CCV called "CCV Easy", which focused on growing market presence in selected European self-service industries.

During my studies, I co-founded this company as a startup project together with a fellow student. The company activities included delivering scientific calculators to schools and to student, using an online website (metica.nl) and a buy- and rent business model, thereby reducing the total cost of ownership of such a device and spreading the required capital expenditure.

Parallel to my studies, I worked as a retail salesperson in the telecommunications space, selling products and services such as mobile phones and data plans to consumers and small businesses.
