I have a passion for building data platforms and providing insight into the most difficult business problems using data analytical techniques. My two areas of expertise, data governance and data analytics are a natural overlap. with data architecture and governance being the enabling framework around which modern data analytic platforms and techniques are put to best use. When organisations have a robust baseline in these critical foundations, I have found that this provides their leaders with increased confidence in using data for innovative decision-making. Using my skills in these areas, I’ve managed teams and delivered projects which have created modern data platforms and embedded ML\AI applications which have generated additional revenue, reduced risk and increased competitive advantage. I have a first-class honours degree in Mathematics and Computer Science and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration coupled with 20 years’ experience helping organisations leverage their investments in information technology and data to drive real world differentiated business outcomes.
