CurrentProgram Coordinator in the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) for 28 active projects and studies, which include infrastructure upgrades to replace aging equipment and incorporate new technologies at the Regional Wastewater Facility with a budget of $1.2 billion. Led project teams through stage gates, a key aspect of the Program’s project delivery model and decision making process. Organized and led weekly meetings with engineering teams to discuss progress and acted as a resource to guide teams from project initiation to final acceptance. Risk manager for both the CIP projects and the Program. Engaged project teams during the planning, design, and construction of CIP projects to identify, quantify, respond to, and monitor risks to the execution of projects. Managed CIP’s risk register and monitored risk management performance of the project team, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders. Administered monthly meetings with executive staff and was responsible for preparing agendas, reviewing meeting materials, preparing minutes, and following-up on action items. Prepared CIP’s annual report and presentation for City Council to highlight project accomplishments and provided visibility and accountability for a significant amount of tax payer dollars. Created annual Outreach Plan to inform internal and external stakeholders of project development, budget, upcoming procurements, and safety initiatives. Organized a Vendor Open House to advertise contracts available to bid to local contractors. Hiring manager for two engineering technician positions and supervised two staff members that assisted in reporting and managed data for Key Performance Indicators.
