Under the Supervision of a Massachusetts Probation Officer, responsibilities included: • Assisting in the tracking of court-ordered mandates for first-time offenders and helping them find available community resources. (counseling agencies, substance abuse treatment facilities, etc.)• Basic inventory questioning of defendants. (prior to trial)• Clerical duties such as retrieving and reviewing individual personal records of offenders.• Observing courtroom cases.
