Tech stack includes ASP.NET Core with jQuery/Kendo UI, and some React/Angular (for more interactive pages/components). Heavy use of SQL Server, including query optimization when performance issues arise. System also integrates with various third party services (heavy GIS integration, oblique imagery, address validation, appraisal engine, etc).I keep a major focus on UI/UX improvements to try to make user interfaces more intuitive and pack situational awareness into complex screens/workflows. I consider myself fortunate to work on a team with decades of experience in the domain and leadership that continues to prioritize delivering value to our counties/end-users.My most recent project was an auxiliary application to simplify tax collection, physical tender management, and end of day postings. As the primary developer for the effort, I helped the carry the project from initial concepts, on-site customer interviews, and prototypes, all the way to launch. Customer feedback has been positive (intuitive and efficient, happy to have switched) as well as internal feedback (has required less on-boarding as users tend to pick it up rather well).

Served as a software developer for a consulting company, crafting software in an Agile environment, across multiple clients and projects. Strengthened as a developer from participating in a 4-5 person team, focused on delivering value via carefully crafted code and solutions. Large, multi-module, Angular 5 based front-end for SPA experience.- Successful transition for large company from home-grown e-commerce site to Shopify. Client now has better insight into sales, while reducing checkout friction. The result was an increase in sales, opening an opportunity for further innovation and offerings. Technical stack .NET Core app integrating shipping services with Shopify.- Spring Boot (Java 8) application for client's customer support. Application integrated into existing order/shipping systems to provide end-users with detailed, prioritized call tasks. Front-end provided via Angular 4; front-end required to follow client's internal style-guide/UX. Data persistence via DB2.- ASP.NET MVC based application focusing on real-time auctions. Started with existing base platform and adapted to customers need. Plain HTML/CSS/JQuery based front-end.- PHP/Laravel based application developed for healthcare client. Angular 1 based front-end for SPA experience.- .NET Core Web API based application for client's specialized LOB application; migration from MS Access solution. Web-based application allows easier integration and faster/simpler deployments. Also opens possibility for future improvements/feature-sets that may not have been possible with existing solution. Angular 2 chosen for front to accompany form heavy application.- Exposure to Node.js applications, HAPI/Express. Minor work for React application: no new features; executed bug fixes as needed.
