Production Engineer. I work alongside the production team at this plant to identify and solve any sort of issues or problem areas in the process flow. I provide support to maintenance to identify and fix any machinery breakdowns. I use SolidWorks CAD software to design new tooling for my processes and to design new upgraded components. I also work with our Quality team to identify any quality issues that may arise and create effective solutions to prevent them from happening again.

High volume horizontal boring mill operator. I set up, loaded programs, operated and made adjustments according to needs required by Link-Belt cranes quality standards. Inspect, measure and record machined components to cranes to ensure specifications were met as provided by blueprint. Troubleshoot machine error codes and work along side maintenance to find the error and fix accordingly. These machines used fanuc and Siemens controllers.

Set up, program, set tools, and make adjustments on Mazak Lathes using Mazatrol CNC programming to produce a quality part to customer specifications. Measured, inspected and made adjustments to work pieces to ensure quality standards were met. Required use of many different measuring instruments such as calipers, outside micrometers, dial bore gages, depth gages,etc. Troubleshoot machine errors and work with maintenance to fix the issue at hand.
