As the Front Office Manager I am responsible for leading a team of 10 overseeing the front office operations including Guest Services, Meeting Room Rentals/Functions, and Group Bookings.Manage all duties of the Front Desk operations, including reservations and guest services. Responsible for all staff training, inter-department communications, and staff scheduling. Maximizes revenue through cost control and proper front desk techniques.Responsible for all groups including creating group reservations and room blocks, creating, sending, and receiving contracts, proposals, and payment in a proficient and timely manner. Ensures all Front Office staff is aware of incoming groups and have all group information and resources prepared for Guest Service Agents prior to any group arrivals. Hiring, training, and proper disciplining including documentation of all Front Office staff. Determines work procedures and prepares work schedules to ensure the smooth operation of the Front Desk.Trains Front Desk staff on proper revenue management procedures, including successful selling techniques, Blueprint Sales Training, current specials and/or promotions, and rate structures.Assists the General Manager in ensures all Front Office postings, adjustments, no show charges, cancellation charges, early and late check-in/check-out fees are properly posted and payment accounted for.
