Others would possibly describe me as ‘quirky’, but there is a lot more to me than just being the quirky guy in the office! I like to describe myself as motivated, upbeat, determined, and… they may be right about the ‘quirky’ bit. I have a true passion for helping others, and my career has seen me in roles where I’ve helped people solve all types of ‘problems’ starting from… “Can I get a drink?”, when I first started working in pubs in QLD. To, “Can you help me find my parcel?”, from my time at Australia Post. Right through to, “How can I maximise my take-home pay?”, which is what I do today. In my day to day work, I get a real buzz from educating people on the intricacies of novated leasing and salary packaging in order to assist them in taking control of their financial well-being. The majority of my time is spent on the road working closely with my clients (employer and employee) to deliver an ‘oh what a feeling’, top-notch experience. I understand that many of my clients are daunted at first by the concepts of salary packaging and novated leasing, often they describe to me that they ‘struggle to understand’. I pride myself on, and have built a reputation for being able to ‘make the complex simple’, cutting through the noise and getting to the points that matter, truly delivering financial benefit. Although I think nothing of it, my team today remarks on my exceptional phone manor and laid-back relationship management style. I guess you can take the guy out of the call centre, but never the call centre out of the guy. Like everyone, work is only part of what I do.
