Jarret is a member of Magnetawan First Nation located in southern Ontario, who is passionate about Indigenous education, economic development, technology and building leadership capacity within the Indigenous community. Jarret has been recognized as a national Indigenous leader in Canada, as a recipient the Sovereigns Medal of Honour, presented by the Governor General of Canada and one of the Huffington's Posts Top 3 Indigenous Millennials in Canada.Jarret is the Co-Founder and Board Chair of the Centre for Indigenous Innovation and Technology, a non-profit organization that focuses on increasing Indigenous peoples in the technology sector and promoting innovation with an Indigenous lens. Jarret is highly involved within the Indigenous community, through volunteering as a Community Council Member with Aboriginal Legal Services in the area of restorative justice and as a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Governors for OCAD University.
