This position has two major duties. The first is research on the Trail's various member communities. This involves writing and designing new community pages on WordPress, collaborating with our stakeholders, and utilizing several databases. The second major duty is strategic planning. This involves communicating with our stakeholders to plan regional meetings, contributing to the revision of our mission statement, contributing to the creation of a new 3-year strategic plan, and assembling an advisory committee.

Worked full-time as a Glazier on commercial construction jobs in order to save up money for school. Gained experience in fulfilling deadlines and working with a team.

Assembled a list of artifacts to be rotated into the Gatheround exhibit.

This was largely a collections-based role, but I did a little bit of everything. Notable tasks included cataloging collections items using PastPerfect, writing exhibit text, and arranging an exhibit section.
