Hello! I'm Jarrett. I am a social researcher and consultant with over a decade of experience working with children and uniquely vulnerable groups in Southeast Asia. My work often addresses the intersection of race, class, gender, and sexuality. I have designed, authored, and co-authored a number of grassroots research projects on topics including street-working children, children with harmful sexual behaviors, child sexual exploitation, and sex work among transgender and nonbinary young people.I am presently working with a brilliant team of people to develop the up! Collective, a decentralized (not yet autonomous) organization that aims to prevent violence and promote social justice through rigorous research, community building, and creative solutions to complex social problems.
