Originally, I am from Olean New York, which is about an hour and half south of Buffalo. An adventurous mindset has been a major influence during my life. In addition this mindset influenced me to leave New York and attend Auburn University. I plan on continuing to use this mindset and chase my next adventure whatever it may be. As a child, my father owned his own pharmacy. Therefore, I knew I wanted to do something within the business field. So, during my early teenage years I experimented with numerous specialties within business. It wasn’t until I found supply chain management that I feel in love with a specialty. Supply chain management to me is the umbrella that all other business functions fall under. In addition, SCM positions have repeatedly stated that every day feels like something new. This statement really resonated with me, as it feeds into my adventurous mindset. Currently, I am working at North Wind Group as a Contract Administrator and developing a deeper understanding of government contracts and procurement. The government relations arena continuous to feed my adventurous mindset as a new lesson is learned every day. I plan on using my adventurous mindset to drive my professional career within the government relations arena and within a master's degree in 2024.
