My career began at the age of 12 helping my father with the family construction business. Little did I know how much I would lean on those experiences and life lessons. I grew into managing my own construction projects while in High School and ultimately starting my own construction business to pay for college. We designed our own homes from scratch, integrated media and whole home networking solutions, and put extra effort in the little details that set our homes apart from the competition. As a small business, efficiency was key to survival; but knowing where to focus our efforts for maximum reward was the foundation of our success. Fast forward to the end of college and I moved into the Defense and Aviation industry as an Electrical Engineer. I enjoyed a successful design career working in Aerospace design, Test Engineering, and System design working a multitude of projects. My unique career has taught me different ways to approach problems and improving processes to eliminate redundancy. My career has brought me back into Program Management where I manage multiple subcontractors on different continents, develop program requirements, oversee hardware and software design, and manage customer relations.
