• Responsible for negotiating, administering, managing, and protecting SoCalGas’ real property rights, ensuring safety for the operation of distribution and transmission facilities.• Ensure compliance with SoCalGas Operational Standards and other jurisdictional requirements in connection with all operations involving Distribution and Transmission. • Review, analyze, and prepare various agreements including easements, consents, licenses, amendments, encroachments, and other land related instruments.• Perform site inspections and evaluations, conduct field meetings with internal and external clients, and prepare cost estimates in resolving any and all property issues for SoCalGas’ Distribution and Transmission Regions.• Accurately plot and/or prepare general legal descriptions, decipher maps, including land plats and land development plans such as grading plans, street improvement plans, plot plans, Thomas Guides, Google Earth, and Land Vision.• Interface effectively and support with major projects, cross-functional departments, public and private agencies.

• Analyzed lease records and contracts while curing title failures for immediate exploration deadlines.• Determined and updated respective revenue interests for well and lease records. • Executed detailed curative work pursuant to title opinions including preparation of the necessary legal documents. • Interpreted Tobin data and validated drilling activity while preparing flow charts, plats, leasing reports, and mineral ownership reports. • Field experience among various counties in Texas.

• Selected to work in-house with QEP Resources, evaluating working interest assets and providing a comprehensible summary for management. • Skilled in preparing cursory title reports, detailed ownership reports, and leasehold ownership reports.• Field experience in Oklahoma and Kansas• Proficient in title curative, due diligence, leasing negotiations, OCC operations, surface plats, and value checks, and validating interests for pooling and spacing respondents. • Exposure working with Oil and Gas Leases and Memorandums, Wellbore Assignments, Farmout Agreements, Joint Operating Agreements, Operating Agreements, Title Opinions, Pooling Orders, and Purchase and Sale Agreements.
