Human Resources Advisor
As HR Officer to the Director of Workforce Advisory, Workplace Relations, and Workforce Analytics whilst also working in the Advisory, Governance and Process Improvement team at QLD Health I provided a range of functions supporting the Workforce leadership team, and Key Stakeholders, Principals and Service Directors across the HHS. This role requires me to interact with stakeholders at within each organisational unit with the workforce division, this included; Workforce Advisory, Workforce Capability, Workplace Relations, Rehabilitation and RTW, Workforce Safety, Recruitment Services, Establishment, and IWFM; as well as the various directorates across the organisation. I have been a key player in the transition from a contemporary communication infrastructure model to a VoIP system. This communication platform has delivered a significant cost savings across the departments that participated in my rollout, saving the health service over $180k annually; this roll out will continue and I single handedly laid the foundations for this.I am also a key stakeholder in the transition from a partnership model to an advisory service offering with involvement in web development, system implementation, governance processes and acting as an ambassador of the change. Provided comprehensive analytics to support the conduct and performance team. This required to me to interrogate big datasets and prepare daily reports to support the function; due to the high level of this reporting I have exercised and continue to exercise a high degree of confidentiality. This lead to me developing a comprehensive PBI scorecard that leverages HR metrics to assist in decision making. I created a digitised the HR Delegations Matrix that is to be used to assist in the governance of the sub delegation of HR powers from the DG to the HSCE and then across a series of bands that are applied the the classifications system to then delegate functions to the appropriate levels of the organisation.
Hr Advisor Workforce Analytics - Workforce Division
I produce a range of confidential reports, formal and adhoc, produce scorecards and develop various dashboards. This requires me to work with a great attention to detail, autonomy and proactively in order to deliver outputs to meet organisational needs across the division, whilst maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.

Senior Manager
Operations Supervisor
This is where I really honed in on my management skills; changing everything from the ground up. This was a great cafe and held significant market share in the locality, however wasn’t where it truly could be. I began my leading by example, as I had not yet taken on the position as operations supervisor. The moral was low, and the pace was slow when it was low volume with a lot of shirking and not much working followed by chaos during high volume periods. So during the low volume I’d analyse every surface and get stocking cleaning and taking pride in the presentation of the store for the customers, organising service functions to streamline processes. After a couple of weeks my colleagues began to follow suit and gradually increasing the productivity of the whole team. I encountered conflict with the manager at the time, as he was more interested in smoking as much as could rather than preparing for the next rush. But from my experience you don’t need to be a manager or wear a shirt to lead people, and after a few short months I’d gained the respect of the staff along side me and was able to begin to develop those around me whilst learning as much as I could from them. The licensee decided there was need for change and overhauled the management structure and I took the lead. Following my promotion we were able to:1. develop a structured recruitment screening process to source the talent we needed.2. Establish a training plan for new employees.3. Establish a development plan for existing employees to aid their personal development and growth.4. Increase sales revenue through integrated personalised sales techniques.5. Become the number 1 cafe in Cooroy on TripAdvisor and retain the title a significant majority of the time due to the outstanding culture established emanating love and positivity.6. My greatest accomplishment was reducing the annual staff turnover rate down from 90% to 10% turnover.
Manager
I took on this job when I had enrolled in a diploma of project management down in Brisbane at the institute of technology. However after getting myself settled in and signing off the lease the course was pulled due to insufficient student enrolments in the course. So I took the opportunity to develop my coffee latte art whilst working with the team at Salisbury and attempting to bring the positive culture I had the privilege to have experienced to this new workplace for me; as the store was a corporate owned store the level of pride was just missing due to a number of factors I won’t elaborate on publicly. This was quite special to me as I hadn’t been able to spend as much time in my previous position to really perfect that cup of coffee for the customers experience; this lead to both my journey to Jamaica Blue but also made me make the decision that I didn’t just want to study Human Resources Management, but I needed to do it.

I’m going to save this for an interview, because I could talk about how enriching my McDonald’s experience from crew (back area of the year 2010) onto crew training (Crew Person of the year) onto crew chief (after revolutionising the performance management across Noosaville, Maroochydore and Kuluin with great success) and onto management (an experienced I’ll never forget) Completed SIR30207 certificate III In RetailBSBINN201A - Contribute to workplace innovationBSBWOR301A - Organise personal work priorities and developmentSIRRFSA002A - Monitor Food safety programSIRXCCS003A - Coordinate interactions with customersSIRXMGT0P2A - Coordinate work teamsSIRXMGT002A - Maintain employee relationsSIRXOHS002A - Maintain store safetySIRXQUA001A - Develop innovative ideas at workSIRXRSK002A - Maintain store securityTAADEL301A - Provide training through instruction and demonstrations work skills
Crew Chief Training Coordinator
Crew Member
I worked as a back area crew person as a young teenager and I enjoyed working in the kitchen and learning all the procedures for each of the stations of the kitchen utilising the training tools and asking my colleagues along the way to assist my development. It was my first taste working in a team environment which was a scary yet enriching experience working with team mates I'll call them from a vast range of backgrounds and ages.I attained the McDonalds Noosaville Back Area Crew Person of The Year Award after three short yet enjoyable months working in my first Job due to my determination in my self development. When I was first employed the training system in place was quite simple; Once placed in the kitchen role I was rostered three short training shifts with my Crew Trainers Ashley Gregg and Isaac Davies on three of the basic supporting positions in the kitchen; I still remember the first words from the trainer after being greeted "Right you've got three of these shifts, listen up because your on your own after this" so I listened as hard as I could and made sure I asked lots of questions (because mum said so) before I was thrust out on my own with the big boys, qI knew I had to prove my worth and learn the ropes before I could start gaining the respect of my fellow crew mates and area managers before I could move my development forward and become a Crew Trainer. These first steps into the workplace carry some memories that I still think about fondly to this day, and I use the knowledge I gained from my experience in my management to this day.
