Through Sogeti, I worked as a contract UX/UI designer onsite with Johnson & Johnson. At Johnson & Johnson, I designed iOS iPad apps for internal use & clinical trials. In these projects, my main objective was perfecting the UX/UI of already existing apps which needed improvements. My role included wireframing UX flows, designing UI elements and high fidelity mockups, slicing assets for the development team, and holding user testing sessions in order to identify bugs and weak areas in the app. Through this workflow, I helped to bring one app to clinical trials.

The Creative Group is a staffing agency which placed me on short and long term projects doing a wide variety of design jobs for many different companies. Through them, I have worked on presentations, advertisements, packaging, branding, and websites. These freelance jobs have allowed me to expand my skill sets and my creative thought process.

Working at Hampton Forge has given me a wide range of experience and responsibilities. In the package design department, I designed and created packaging for cutlery and flatware while keeping brand standards and customer requirements in mind. I also created package renderings, and prepped the files for printing. These packages are showcased in many stores, such as Walmart, Target, and Home Outfitters. I also worked in product development in the flatware department, where a large part of my job was working closely with factories in China so that our product would be produced correctly and on time. My daily routine consisted of reviewing technical drawings, analyzing renderings and prototypes, and keeping constant open communication with Chinese factories. In this position, I have become project coordinator for small scale projects, where I act as a leader and delegate tasks to other employees and interns.Another aspect of my position was market research to identify trends in color, shape, and products offered. I did this through reading product catalogs, looking through competitor websites, and visiting stores that Hampton Forge wanted their product in.

With Uber Motif, I did freelance design for clients. This work was mostly brochures and web graphics for local New Jersey companies.

Working as a design intern with Active Products, I was given the opportunity to cultivate my skills in both product design and graphic design. My biggest accomplishments were the prototypes that I created for their toy "Wall Coaster" using SolidWorks. I created these pieces from conception, modeled them in SolidWorks, and used an in house 3D printer to print and test prototypes. In my graphic design role, I created instruction manuals for this same children's toy, staying true to brand guidelines and color schemes. IMET is a product development company, which largely develops electronic products. Through my experience as a summer intern, I learned how to use IMET's machinery (ex. Pick and Place Machine) to populate and inspect circuit boards. I also used Dreamweaver to create and update sections of IMET's website. (www.imetcorporation.com)
