• Management of staff including roster changes• Effective floor management• Inventory/stock control• Social Media marketing/management• Solo opens and closes• Dial in and serve coffee including alternative brewing methods.• Provide advice/training to staff (many from non-hospitality backgrounds) on specialty coffee techniques including tamping, steaming, ergonomic work flow and dialing in coffee on EK and Anfim grinders.• Manage food and coffee stock levels including retail and single origin coffees, fresh produce, animal products, milk and bread. • Prepare food for sale and prep fresh ingredients.• Prepare/host/pack down cupping events.

• Prepare wholesale orders for pick-up/transit. • Provide advice/knowledge to wholesale/in-store customers on retail coffee.• Dial in and serve from a menu of 8-12 individual coffees for espresso, milk & v60 including rare and highly-scored varietals pricing from $7-$28 per cup. • Manage stock levels including weighing and labelling coffee for retail shelves. • Prepare/co-host/pack down cupping events. • QC cup roasts to detect variances/defects and determine flavour notes for retail sales.
