Procurement Manager - 3Rd Party Manufacturing Anz
In this capacity, Jarrod was responsible for Unilever's outsourced manufacturing / third party manufacturing (3PM) for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.In this capacity, Jarrod worked as part of the 3PM Procurement Team for Asia, Africa, Middle East and Turkey (AAMET), and was responsible for all 3PM manufactured products sold in the Australian and New Zealand (ANZ) markets - directly reporting into Unilever's regional offices in Singapore. Jarrod was accountable for the $110m+ AUD annual spend across a complex supplier base of both local and overseas manufacturers in Hair/Personal Care (HPC), Laundry/Homecare, Beverage, Savoury Foods and Wet Foods categories across both Unilever's Retail and Food Solutions divisions.During his 3 years in this role he delivered savings of over $8m AUD across the portfolio, grew and established new relationships with 3rd Party Manufacturers and established new contracts totalling over $1 billion AUD.Jarrod also represented the cluster of AAMET working with Unilever's Supply Chain Leadership Team (SCLT) on Sourcing Strategy for both ANZ and the AAMET cluster, including several key sourcing studies. As well as sourcing studies, Jarrod was key in delivering new innovations for Unilever, managing the supply / manufacturing aspects of launches involving brands such as Clear, Vaseline, Continental, OMO, Lipton, Flora, Surf and Comfort.As part of his deliverables in this role, Jarrod worked closely with Unilever's ANZ local businesses and the AAMET cluster to deliver several key initiatives as part of Unilever's Global Sustainable Living Plan, including key work on recycled packaging supply and sustainable, segregated Palm Oil. Jarrod also worked as 3PM lead (ANZ) for Unilever's acquisitions of Alberto Culver and Sara Lee.
