I am a final-year Master’s student at the University of Melbourne in Mechanical Engineering, where I was honoured to receive the Mechanical Engineering Discipline Award for 2024 for my capstone project. My passion lies in applied physics, mechanical design, and 3D printing technology, driven by curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning.I have gained valuable experience in both the renewable energy sector and aerospace sector with satellite mechanical design. In the renewable energy field, I contributed to designing innovative kinetic energy harvesters for commercial wind farms. Concurrently, my role at the Melbourne Space Laboratory deepened my understanding of satellite engineering concepts. Currently, I serve as the Project Lead and Engineering Manager for the UniMelb Rover Team, where I am focused on my capstone project, which explores active flow control and low-cost strategies to reduce skin friction drag in commercial aviation—efforts aimed at enhancing fuel efficiency and sustainability in the industry.In my spare time, I enjoy tinkering with engineering projects, particularly the intricate mechanisms and novel designs of wristwatches.
