In doing so, Telstra has created a network of representatives from various business units that act as change champions to identify opportunities for improvement and channeling employee feedback and taking actions on improving process, policy and communication.Customer relationship management is the other side of my role which starts with the receipt of inbound calls primarily complaints with a few other complex enquiry types added in for good measure. I can honestly say I learn something new every week and even after all this time i am still enjoying the challenge that everyday brings.I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of Telstra's Stepping Into Management program and obtaining my Cert IV in Frontline management and Cert IV in Customer Contact. Working with and backfilling for such an experienced and diverse leadership team has given me such a great scope of the variability that exists between the theories of management and how it is effectively put into practice.With my change in career direction Telstra has yet again shown how it supports it employees by enabling me to move from the corporate office in the CBD to a role in a retail store environment which has been a bit of a change. The flexibility of working part-time around uni and school-hours has been amazing and has only served to increase my level of advocacy and commitment to the company for all of the measures it takes to improve the lives of its internal and external customers.
