Local Business Banking (LBB) provides financial services to small to medium sized businesses across Australia. The inaugural 2014 LBB Graduate Program has given me the opportunity to join a dynamic and empowered team, accountable for delivering value creating solutions to help LBB become the best client focussed business bank in Australia. During my 12 month program my key objectives are to: - Establish a structured career path within the Bank’s LBB division- Endeavour to add value and contribute to the team- Gain confidence and a strong grounding within my team before facilitating client visits alone, and with specialist support - Establish contact with key business partners (i.e. Business Lending Support, Retail Banking, Business Service Centre) to understand their roles, how they compare with roles in LBB and how we can work together to deliver the required outcomes- Develop skills resulting in competently acquiring and retaining clients in the SME market- Understand the business as a whole, not just the position/s I will work in

- Set KPI’s & sales targets, implement strategies to achieve same, oversee location performance and report to the COO and Directors on a weekly basis.- Mentor, develop, monitor and provide continuous feedback to middle management- Implement cost minimisation strategies for profit enhancement - Staff selection, evaluation, training and development

- Working with Operations Manager to implement strategies to achieve sales targets- Cash reconciliation, banking and end of day reporting- Performing stocktakes, writing purchase orders and maintaining stock levels- Maintaining customer service standards and managing conflict resolution

- Negotiating sales contracts, conducting property inspections and assisting a Senior Sales Executive- Building, updating and maintaining a large client database- Cold calling potential clients to expand client database
